The ghosts of King Louis XVI’s court–including Marie Antoinette, still mourning her execution–mingle with characters from Rossini’s The Barber of Seville and Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro in this fantastical, wildly imaginative opera filled with suspense, spectacle, and laugh-out-loud hilarity.
